PNE Annual Report 2008
I have a long association with PNE and am fully confident that the skills, integrity and professionalism displayed by all who are involved with the Group will continue to grow the organization and realize our stated Strategy for 2015. PNE has many friends and has rightfully gained respect from lots of quarters over the years. This reflects the hard work of all involved and the legacy that we have inherited from previous mentors. It is fitting that we recognize the tireless contribution of Pamela Denham who held the Chair for the last 10 years and thank her for all her efforts. Innovative and competitive delivery in the market place, collaborating through partnerships where appropriate, together with sensible fiscal management will continue to be the foundations that PNE shall thrive upon. Whilst complacency is misguided, the history, people and financial position of the Group leave me in no doubt that exciting and productive times are ahead. As we approach PNE’s 30th birthday it is worth recognizing that the Group is no stranger to turbulent times. Indeed the hallmark of the organization has been its ability to operate successfully and also to grow in diverse and challenging geographic and economic environments.
