PNE Group appoints new Chairman

John Strawinski, Chairman, PNE Group

PNE Group, the NewcastleGateshead based global social enterprise, has appointed John Strawinski as its new Chairman. 

John (49), who lives in North East Derbyshire, has enjoyed a long standing involvement with the PNE Group, having been on its board as a non-executive director for 14 years, and as Vice Chairman for the last 4 years. 

A qualified Chartered Surveyor, John has held senior roles in the property, minerals and leisure industries during the last 20 years, where he has national responsibility for multi million pound budgets. 

Said John, “I am delighted to further my involvement with PNE Group as its new Chairman. As a pioneering organisation that thrives in difficult economic times, PNE is strongly placed to meet the challenge ahead.

“My goal is to ensure PNE builds on the many successes of the last 28 years, and continues to be a dynamic organisation that designs innovative solutions for the development of people, performance and places in the region, nationally and overseas.”

John succeeds Pamela Denham, who was Chair of PNE for just under 10 years. The PNE board, and staff have expressed their thanks to Pamela for Chairing the organisation and developing the strong foundations it now has to move forwards.
