Dr Dawn Cranswick (CEO)
Dawn is chief executive of PNE Group, with responsibility for all aspects of organisational planning and performance. This includes strategy development, staff development and working with the non-executive board. She has specific expertise in management consultancy – including fund management and evaluation of fund management – and has undertaken assignments in Africa, the Far East, Middle East, and both Central and Eastern Europe. Dawn has a PhD in Management, a Master’s degree in Quality Management and is a qualified Leadership Coach. Outside of work she is a keen reader, gym member and is learning to speak German. |

Stu Anderson
Stu is the project director for the Shell LiveWIRE programme delivered by PNE Group for Shell. He has an in-depth knowledge of the enterprise landscape – particularly in relation to youth enterprise. Stu works with stakeholders all over the UK and is regularly asked for input on enterprise and entrepreneurship projects at a national level, and regularly has input into government policy on enterprise. Stu holds an MBA, and is currently studying for a PhD in Entrepreneurship, and is a board member of ISBE and SFEDI. Away from work he is a keen rugby player and skier. |

Karen Bellis
Karen is international operations director for the Shell LiveWIRE programme delivered by PNE Group on behalf of Shell International in over 20 countries. She has wide knowledge and experience of International development on a country and global level. Karen has specific expertise in building multi-disciplinary delivery partnerships around the world and has regular engagement at national government level in LiveWIRE countries of operation. Karen studied agriculture at Aberystwyth, holds a PGCE and continually updates on international relations and economics. Outside of work Karen is a national office holder in the Women’s Food and Farming Union and plays an active role on various organisations’ boards. |

Richard Clark
Richard is the director of workspace at PNE Group. Before this he was research and development officer at Northumbria tourist board. He has been involved in a wide range of economic development activities including micro finance, business incubators, technology projects and economic development consultancy. He is a director of North East Workspace Ltd, Designworks (Gateshead) Ltd, Silicon Alley (Newcastle upon Tyne) Ltd and Newcastle Youth Enterprise Centre. He also acts as the UK expert on the benchmarking of incubators. |

Tracey Moore
Tracey is the development manager at PNE Group. Tracey is responsible for the management of the voluntary sector team and ensuring that all projects and services are delivered effectively and in line with both funder requirements and the needs of the voluntary sector. Her role also requires her to identify new business opportunities and implement new projects and services. Alongside her management role at PNE, Tracey is also a qualified assessor, executive coach and consultant. Outside of work she is a school governor and is currently studying for an Executive MBA at Newcastle University. |

Gary Nagel
Gary is the head of IT at PNE Group and is responsible for strategy, planning and IT service delivery. He has over 20 years’ management experience of implementing IT solutions to a range of private and public sector clients both in the UK and internationally. A Prince2 qualified IT professional, he has a specialism with Internet technologies management including: multilingual websites, social networking applications, learning management systems, SEO, hosting/domain management and a range of multimedia developments. A former international runner, Gary still has a keen interest in athletics and plods the streets of Tyneside. |

Sandy Ogilvie
Sandy managed PNE Group as CEO until April 2011, and is a strategic operator and skilled chairman, used to working at executive level with major global companies and governments. He is an experienced project manager in enterprise development and has direct experience working on multiple short-term enterprise development assignments in over 25 developed and developing countries. Sandy holds directorships for a number of voluntary and community based organisations and recently qualified as an ILM level 7 Executive Coach. Away from work his interests are family, golf, church, theatre and live music. |

Ian Thompson
Ian is the PNE Group accountant and company secretary. He is a chartered accountant with over 30 years’ experience in both the accountancy profession and the private sector working with SMEs and voluntary sector organisations both in the UK and overseas. As part of the executive team, Ian provides back up and financial support to project managers, executives and group boards. |
