2015 brought exciting developments for the Group, which marked the launch of a new strategy, and the continued impact of a diverse portfolio of projects, supporting people to start small businesses, supporting small organisations to be more sustainable, and supporting large businesses to help small businesses.
John Strawinski, Chairman of the Board at PNE Group, commented, “PNE Group has embraced strategic change over the last year and as a board we are confident that we enter 2016 from a position of strength. We have a track record of success and as always look forward to the challenge of the coming year, ensuring we maximise any opportunity to amplify the unique enterprise development we deliver on a global scale.”
Commenting on the success of the Group in 2015, Chief Executive Dawn Cranswick noted in her introduction, “Two contracts highlight 2015 as a year of great momentum for the Group, and earmark the strength of the relationships we continue to build with our clients.
“Early in the year, we won a two-year contract from the Royal Bank of Scotland Group to provide grant management for the RBS Skills and Opportunities Fund, a national programme to support enterprise, education and employability projects that make a difference in disadvantaged communities.
In July, following a global procurement process, PNE Group won a three-year contract from Royal Dutch Shell to support their worldwide lead for enterprise development, progressing, managing and enhancing Shell LiveWIRE programmes around the world. In addition, a first for Shell LiveWIRE, PNE Group supported the delivery of two global initiatives, Let’s Go Trade and the Top Ten Innovators Awards.”
