Sustainable Start-up Award
If you’re 18 to 30, live in the North East, and have a business idea with a positive social or environmental impact, then our £1,000 Sustainable Start-up Award could be for you!
The Sustainable Start-up Award is a discretionary grant awarded to North East residents whose businesses positively demonstrate their commitment to supporting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its mission of ending poverty, inequality, and climate change via innovative thinking, emerging technologies, and ethical business models.
The discretionary grants can be for businesses making a positive social or environmental impact, or to cover costs that enable the business to be more sustainable (for example purchasing recycled materials, or energy-efficient tools or equipment).
