The Award will build on current management skills and knowledge. It will give a greater understanding of the various roles and responsibilities involved in strategic management and, through focusing on specific areas of management.
Developed for senior managers who have the responsibility to translate organisational strategy into effective performance, this qualification requires the manager to focus on the requirements of implementing the organisation’s strategy. Learners enrolled on the Level 7 programme must have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.
Learners admitted to the Level 7 programme should:
• Have experience of working as a senior manager, or have had considerable experience of middle management and are aspiring to higher level management
• Understand management and leadership concepts relevant to the qualification
• Be able to investigate theories and current management thinking and link theory to practice
