The Level 4 Award in Management and Leadership is designed for junior managers who would like to grow their professional management skills and build on their experience of being a first line manager.
Designed to help develop management skills including decision-making, managing team dynamics and delegation capability. Those undertaking a Level 4 qualification are those who are usually hoping to move into middle management.
Learners enrolling on to the programme should:
• Have experience of working as a first line manager or supervisor in either a paid or unpaid capacity
• Understand management and leadership concepts relevant to the qualification
• Be able to investigate theories and current management thinking and link theory to practice
