Shell LiveWIRE launches Let’s Go Trade and Top Ten Innovators

2015 marked the inaugural, global Shell LiveWIRE enterprise initiatives Top Ten Innovators and Let’s Go Trade. Let’s Go Trade supported entrepreneurs applying from across Shell LiveWIRE’s global network to access financial support to undertake international trade visits to further their business, whilst Top Ten Innovators invites Shell LiveWIRE alumni across the world to take part in a competition acknowledging and rewarding excellence in innovation. The initiatives made a powerful impact, with the Top Ten Innovators winner, Esther Wang, highlighted as a role model in the Singapore Parliament’s Annual Budget speech, alongside the Top Ten Innovators programme itself, and the Let’s Go Trade programme generating business benefits totalling US $1.8 million and a return of $36 for each $1 invested.

Top Ten Innovators is now an annual competition, which awards intelligent and innovate Shell LiveWIRE alumni each year. In 2017, people from across 130 countries voted for their overall winner.

 

PNE Group appointed Grant Administrators for the Skills and Opportunities Fund

In 2015, PNE Group were appointed the grant administrators for the RBS Group’s Skills and Opportunities Fund. The appointment followed the successful delivery of the bank’s previous social investment programme, the Inspiring Enterprise Fund.  Since its launch in 2015, the Skills and Opportunities Fund has distributed over £7.5m to local initiative and organisations. In 2016 alone, the Fund received 1,714 applications, with the public vote for shortlisted projects attracting 105,000+ voters. 123 projects were funded, sharing the £2.5m annual value of support. By the end of the year, 42,888 disadvantaged people had benefited from the Fund.

 

PNE Enterprise win the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) High Impact Award

For the success and reach of their Global Entrepreneurship Week events, PNE Enterprise are awarded the High Impact Award.
