Teesside University: Global Entrepreneurship Week
In November 2019, PNE Group delivered three days of enterprise workshops as part of Teesside University’s Global Entrepreneurship Week activities.
“Thank you to PNE Enterprise for the fantastic attention to detail provided during our GEW 2019 schedule of activities. The Team worked really hard to deliver and implement a range of workshops based on our requirements and provided a great range of supporting materials which we can continue to use in coming years. From initial ideas scoping to implementation, I can’t fault the work, and most importantly our students provided 100% positive feedback from all the workshops delivered. I would highly recommend PNE for their work in this area and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again”

About the Teesside University Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Workshops
Taking place in a teepee on the heart of campus, the workshops offered students, staff and graduates the chance to take part in a food waste themed hackathon, ‘Think like an entrepreneur’ sessions and ‘Problem or payday’, which encouraged participants to reframe day-to-day challenges as market opportunities.
The workshops created an exciting three days of enterprise learning, with some people dropping into the teepee for a chosen session, while others attended all the workshops across three days. Feedback from participants included:
- 100% of attendees rating the overall experience and learning as ‘Good’ or ‘Very Good’
- 100% of attendees saying they would recommend the session to a friend
Attendees reported that they most enjoyed the team-working, personal development and ideas generation.
What we did
We developed a bespoke set of workshops to fit the needs of the Teesside University Enterprise Team, developing the materials, delivering the sessions and providing worksheets capturing the learning and activities to the wider student body.
